This methodology pack focusses on quantitative workload modeling for Web applications. Two broad scenarios are covered. One involves existing legacy applications which are being migrated to the Web. The second involves new IT application development or deployment scenarios, where it is important, in the performance requirements stage, to plan for the application's performance and size the infrastructure accordingly, without having any usage history to lean on.
